In my most recent position, I worked in a group practice which focused on all types of grief & loss and trauma. I was trained in trauma-informed care, and take pride in approaching all of my clients through this informative lens.

I provide online continuing education webinars for several organizations on the topics of: suicide assessment, grief & loss, language and communication around difficult topics.
Psychiatric Social Worker, ER
February 2019 - May 2021
As part of my work as an Emergency Department social worker, I met routinely with adolescents and young adults who were having suicidal ideation. I gained suicide assessment and crisis management skills, which helps me relate to my current clients in times of greatest need.
Hospice Social Worker
February 2019 - May 2021
In hospice, I helped families prepare for end-of-life. We talked about all sorts of things: healthcare decisions, personal wishes, family relationships, and how to help others go on after loss. This was the beginning of my passion for work with grief and end-of-life.
